We're having our Annual Holiday Party on Monday December 16th. Events including the fun gift exchange game, "Best Holiday Outfit" and paper airplane contests will also take place and there will be cool prizes for the contests! Each Scout should please bring one wrapped gift that is $15 - $25 in value and gift cards are NOT allowed. The gift needs to be Scout appropriate and should be something you and other Scouts in the Troop would like to receive as a present. Also please bring snacks or individually wrapped candy to the party to share. If not participating in the "Best Holiday Outfit" contest, please wear your class A uniform. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you there to celebrate!!!
Hello Troop 1613! Get ready for our first campout of the new year at Lake Perris from January 10th to the 12th! We’ve secured a fantastic group campsite, and we’re planning some exciting fishing and boating activities plus the next Golden Spoon Cooking competition. Sign up at our upcoming meetings and please submit your completed permission slip (attached) along with $40, which covers the camping fee and food for each scout. We can’t wait to have you join us for an awesome adventure!
Save the Dates 2/7 - 2/9/25! Join us for an exciting campout at Anza Borrego State Park where we’ll be camping at Borrego Palm Canyon Campground in Borrego Springs. Get ready for an adventure with amazing day hikes through slot canyons and to a desert oasis, plus we’ll explore the park’s incredible giant metal sculptures. Did you know? The park is named after Spanish explorer Juan Bautista de Anza and the Spanish word "borrego," meaning bighorn sheep. It’s also the largest state park in California! We can’t wait for a fun and unforgettable campout with everyone!
Calling all Scouts! Are you ready for a "Rockin" good time with Troop 1613?! Save the Dates and don't miss out on our campout to Joshua Tree National Park 3/14 - 3/16/25! We have a group site reserved at Indian Cove campground near huge rocks and boulders that were formed by volcanic activity millions of years ago.
December 9th we will be learning lashings and how to tie each one. After learning lashings, we will have a chariot racing activity out on the lawn. Hope to see you there!
